Credit Card Gateway Issues – Please try again!

For anyone that has been attempting to purchase any Games via Credit Card from our site this month that have been knocked back for an unspecified reason, please try again now.

It seems that on the 24th of October 2009 my Credit Card Payment Gateway provider made some un-announced changes to their system that has caused havoc with my transactions and was knocking back payment attempts due to an invalid length reference id. What’s annoying is that the reference id’s I am providing work some of the time and are the same id’s I have been providing my gateway provider since we began selling games in 2007.

My Gateway provider is embarrassingly  looking into the cause of the issue and I have modified my reference id’s to ensure that sales go through until their system can be put back to how it was before the ill fated change.

I apologise to all those that have been unable to purchase our games this month. Please feel free to try again now.

So, what’s the next Desktop game we are going to release?

TankzI am happy to announce that the next desktop game we will be releasing will be Tankz! That probably seemed like an obvious answer, but for me nothing is ever obvious.

Why? you might ask! Well, I am just one guy sitting in his office making games and I have way more ideas and a way longer list of things I would love to make, than there are available hours in all of time!

Tankz has taken quite a while to move over to the Desktop, mainly because most of the Art was made specifically for the iPhone, so it has had to be re-done to give it more wow factor on the desktop. The other main time taker-up-erer (that’s a word my dad used to use, for time wasting) is that the iPhone is very under powered compared to desktop computers both speed wise and graphics wise, so a lot of time has been taken up in adding new awesome things like massive explosions and better looking enemies with more of them to kill! This of course also means the game needs more balancing and of course lots more testing!

With all that said, production is going really really well and I am pushing close to the testing stages of development.

I will post some screen shots soon, Stay tuned!

Circuit Defenders iPhone update submitted to the App Store!

CD iconCircuit Defenders iPhone v1.2.1 has been submitted to the iTunes APP Store for approval. I am hoping it will be out before the end of the year, but the buzz in the developer community is that submission times are very long and not to hold our breaths of pre Xmas releases.

v1.2.1 includes some random bug fixes and memory optimisations.
